Absolutely incredible experience at Into Laksa Waterloo! The service was friendly, accommodating, easy and fast — exactly what you want when you’re hungry and ready for a good feed. Every single dish was fresh, flavourful and downright decadent. We ordered: Vegetarian Spring Rolls Sambal Watercress Chicken Curry Roti Canai Duck Laksa Seafood Laksa Nasi Goreng with Beef Children’s Fish Cake Noodle Soup We love our food spicy and this place delivered. The heat was perfect, but it was the depth of flavour in every dish that made this meal a sure slapper. Highly recommend. Will absolutely be back!

Honest review of mine. I’d give the nasi lemak 6 stars if i could. The rendang just so well made, rich flavour, well seasoned. The sambal onion is the best compared to other’s restaurant nasi lemak i’ve tried. Beef wat tan hor 4 stars as it missing the flavour ( i think they forgot to put salt/seasoning), but texture wise was excellent, it smells so good, the balance of colour also looks good. Cheers cheong fun was delicious but the sauce too thick so the flavour of it too strong, the Chinese restaurant I usually go to has thinner sauce so it pairs so well. The chrysanthemum tea worth to try, the sugar lever just perfect. The pickled chilli also free if you want. The price are super affordable, the waiting time also very fast, the customer service very good, easy to park and very nice location. They also do uber eats. Will definitely be back

Best Malaysian food so far on our AUS/NZ travels, you couldn’t expect better food in Malaysia itself. Also very reasonable priced

We had the Hakka Style Deep Dried Pork Belly to start which was quite nice, crispy, sweet and paired well with the sweet chilli sauce. My partner had the BBQ Pork Wonton Laksa which was rich and tasty, I had the Roasted Duck Breast Slice Noodle (dry) and that was ok, duck was a touch dry and lost a little flavour, but it's Saturday arvo in a café, bit expecting gourmet restaurant quality here, noodles and veg were great. Was a hot day and the AC was off that left me leaking a bit, but otherwise comfortable enough for out and they didn't feel the need to blare out terrible music, which is always a bonus in my book.

I love Into Laksa in Waterloo. I’ve been going to this restaurant about once a week since I arrived in Sydney April 2025. My delightful introduction to it came from two different friends on two separate occasions. I didn’t know the area at all back then, and each time I arrived, it was from a different direction—so I didn’t realize it was the same place until my third visit, when I finally navigated there using Google Maps. I just can’t resist going back. I usually order the Chicken Curry Laksa, but today I tried a new addition to the menu—Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee. It’s a delicious stir-fried mix of noodles with prawns, chicken, calamari, pork, and chili. I have to be gentle with the chili since I can have an allergic reaction if I overdo it, but thankfully it was served on the side as a natural chili paste. I highly recommend this new dish that’s just been added to the Into Laksa menu!

On a cold rainy night we visited Into Laksa. We ordered Hainanese Chicken and Rice, a chicken laksa and har mee. My son had no issues eating the chicken and rice which is a huge win because he usually takes an extra 40 minutes to eat after we both have finished. The Laksa was heartwarming and fulfilling and the Har mee was al dente and tasty. We would visit again.
